Mason / Hardscape Foreman

Full-Time | $25–$35/hr | Morris County, NJ

BTS Landscaping is an established landscape company that has been serving Morris County for over 30 years.  We are a high quality, not high quantity company looking for passionate and committed employees who share our values.  We are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated person to fill the position of Mason/Hardscape Foreman and join our team.  

6:45 am start Monday through Friday. With opportunity for overtime.

Who This Role Is For

• Clean, Valid driver’s license.

• Minimum 3 years masonry experience including stone masonry, block and brick laying, retaining walls, concrete (sidewalks and curbs), stone veneer, and wet laid stone applications

• Maintain high standards and attention to detail.

• Ability to maintain organization of tools, equipment and materials.

• Experience operating skid steer, excavator and other related machinery.

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and able to lift minimum 50 lbs.

• Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers and clients.

• Snow removal experience a plus.

• Must be 18 or older.
  

What You’ll Do

• Execute proper hardscape/masonry construction techniques.

• Perform and oversee repairs and restoration including repointing, patching and structural repairs.

• Lead and supervise a crew of 2+ and be able to give clear direction.

• Ensure jobs are completed safely, on time and to BTS standards.

• Train and guide new crew members to improve performance and efficiency

• Track job expenses and daily timesheets.

• Maintain neat and orderly job sites and company trucks.

• Must be punctual and maintain a professional appearance.
